Driving in China - theory test App Reviews

Just got my Chinese drivers license using only this APP for preparation. Its near identical to the actual exam questions, including the pictures. Simply learn all questions by heart and you should reach your score of 90+ points! Developer should fix some glitches in the pot ramming and offer the option to save the progress in each block of questions, but overall good to use!

Much closer to the real questions than the (German) book. Very Helpful, brief tool. I think I missed some (minor but also these are asked) traffic signs.

Great, easy and simple app to prepare for drivers license in Shanghai! Pretty much the same questions and translations (yes, sometimes they are really bad) as in the official test!!

I have been studying on this app for a month and I passed my exam today on my first try. The exam looks quite similar to the examples given on this app. My way of studying was to memorize only the answer of "Correct" and the multiple choices. Thank you so much for making this app! The app is great helpfull for the people who gonna take the test for translating their own driving license into Chinese one, since the studying sheets havent published by the Traffic Police Dept. in China, this app is "almost" the only way to pass this test, thanks a lot, this app deserves more than 2USD...

It was really indispensable to approach the test in a serious way. Just one week and I passed it at my first attempt. Great the new functions. Zhang

The app is great but from January 2013 the questions bank almost completely change! As the current situation the app is not so useful but when the database will be fixed it will come back as the best application of this kind! So up to now 3 stars but I will change to 5 as soon as the problem will be solved!

Training and Exam Dont work ! if u press them the app crushes ! It really suck ! 3 stars because the only one function that works works well. THIS APP NEEDS TO BE FIXED !

First of all I must say that I used this app (only) and I passed the written test at first try. So its enough to pass. On the bad side: English Translations of many questions are not corresponding, so sometimes I didnt know what to answer or I could not understand what the (real) test was asking. A proper alignment of translations is required in order to improve the software.

The app should be your first go to if you plan to get a drivers license in China. China has gas vehicles and countless battery powered vehicles. ***IF your vehicle does not have pedals like a bicycle, you need a Chinese drivers license***. I am of the opinion that the rules of the road are near similar in China and the states. HOWEVER... Chinas interpretation of English - on their exam - is enough to flunk the most proficient English speakers. I drilled these bamboozling questions for a week, and I can pass the practice tests, but barely. ...Also, China requires you to retake the test if you accumulate 12 points in a year cycle. If you want to challenge yourself with the mundane, this is also an app for you. Thanks BeeBusy. I am not a paid endorser.

I downloaded the app on Thursday, reviewed and tested until the following Friday (today) and passed my test with a 97%! Having all the possible questions, pictures, and odd wording/poor translation in one place was a godsend! The review and explanations were also a huge help. Thanks, Driving in China! For those of you looking to take the test, get this app! 加油！

This app is great. No way I would have passed without it.

Honestly, my only complaint about this app is that I didnt see a way to flag questions to create my own short list for review. A lot of the questions are common sense, but there are a handful that seem backwards or tricky and you need to be able to get these to pass.

This is money well spent! Only had the program for 2 weeks....studied ALL the questions several times, while taking tests between. After three times, just tested 7 more times....passed every time! Went to the licensing division today...tested for real....made 94% which gave me an operators permit! Some Questions were worded differently, but the exact question meaning. Great study tool and worth every penny....thanks guys for a great program! Worth much more than the charge when youre stuck in China with nothing to study for the test.

I finally passed my driving test the fourth time around. I bought this app last night and it has all the 300+signs with all the illogical answers that are found on the actual exam and I passed this morning. Mind you I dont think it has all the test bank questions, but it will give you a huge edge due the the test bank not having ANY signs in it. The moral of the story: study BOTH the 300 page document a little and this app thoroughly!

In the latest update many questions are only partially visible - the second half of the question is missing. This happens in many sections of the training portion and also some in the study portion. Please fix this. If this is not fixed the app is fairly useless.
